Exhibits: Uranium Cycle

Uranium is a common element found throughout our world.  It is a heavy metal that can be used as an abundant source of concentrated energy.  This exhibit will take visitors from the mines to the reactor to waste management, allowing them to visualize the complete cycle of Uranium. 

Urannium Exhibit

Exhibition and Components:  Follow the path that uranium ore takes from the mine to becoming reactor fuel.  This exhibit uncovers the processes used to mill and process the material as well as the environmental and waste management action taken after its use. 

Square Footage and Location:  600 square feet of exhibit space.  Located in the Technology section of the Museum.
