Exhibits: Space: The Atomic Frontier

Back to Exhibit Floor Plan

We have explored all the continents and the depths of the oceans, but with the use of atomic power we can also explore the final frontier: space.  Space exploration will make major contributions to our society in the next few years.  Nuclear propulsion will enable man to travel into space to visit the moon, the planets and the stars.  Yesterday’s Star Trek will become tomorrow’s world.  See it at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History!
